Has nothing to do with stan wars. I'm just stating facts. Y'all are making up excuses so the numbers this album did seem more significant than they are. Kanye is meant to do at least this much. Why? I don't know, I guess because the guy has been a top 5 most popular figure in rap music for the last 20 years, despite all the controversial hot water he's found himself in? That's just common sense lol.

Also, this is his first project since Donda, an album that debuted over 300k units without a full first week. Why anyone would think this project wouldn't do at least 100k units is beyond me.

it was removed from streaming 3 times, released at like 3am a week later then the original date, had a song removed, was on Spotify several hours late on the initial release date, for me at least it was impossible to predict how well it would do (I’m not a numbers person obviously)

All those things were unfortunate bumps in the road but it wasn't like the album was removed for an entire day. It was removed for less than 6 hours combined across all the times it was off streaming. That's a drop in the bucket because people kept checking to see when the album would return and it always did after an hour or two.

Corporations or certain figures having issues with Kanye doesn't mean the people who still support him will stop doing so. That's my entire point.

People never stopped streaming Kanye's music through his most controversial moments so why would you think those same people wouldn't support a brand new album from him that was available for them to stream?
