She broke that record already hours ago, it‘s probably going to be 250 million streams or something

  • Corny

The hype around this release doesn’t match that number

Her album was very slow so idk if her holds a will as good be as good a normal banger pop/rap album.

But based on early performances on AM, Amazon & fm, I’d say 300M is possible.

NSYNC in 2000. Adele in 2015.

    1. folklore being a surprising return to form, surprise release effect
    2. re-recordings introducing her to a whole new generation and allowing her to gain goodwill
    3. She's on the biggest world tour of all time rn, the hype in the US and South America was unprecedented

  • Fax My Brother

f***ing hate her and her s***ty fans

stop being pressed lmao.. we won this

  • pussy bacon

    Perish white devil

kanye nazi :) you accused her of being nazi in 2017 and it's actually your goat who is one

  • Heatwaves

This is like the least liked and least talked about swift album like ever, something fishy goin on

my entire Twitter timeline is literally only Taylor and I know 5 friend groups who threw a first listen party

  • We Didnt Like That

Not a chance. She pulled out all the stops and Queen Adele still doing more with only 11 tracks

that's because Adele forced everyone to purchase it, she didn't put it on streaming services for the first months. And 2015 was a different sales climate.

I really don’t understand how she got bigger after 1989, espically after the reception to Reputation. Most pop stars would have started to fade after that but it seems like she got some boost after the pandemic/Scooter fiasco

it's really not that hard to understand. Tour boost, some acclaimed albums, rerecordings being an entire narrative

God is always on time. Only so long fake artists can pretend.

Folklore and Evermore expanded her audience and she bounced back.
