then his 3.5 year old album is still selling 42k a week, over double Drake's most recent album (FATD, 8 months old). His 3.5 year old album is going to destroy FATD's sales this year. Somethin isn't right

It's not easy, unless you've now got a top 5 biggest fanbase in the US, which I think Kendrick now has after this beef. I think ur underestimating what this beef has done to his rep
the only way he sells less than 400k is if the album's less than like 14 songs
If he plays any sort of physical games he's doing 500k minimum. The rollout for thiis album also looks like it's gonna be bigger than Mr Morale's

umless the album got drake disses in them it is not doing 400k lol. he had a crazy hit with Not Like Us but pretty sure that’s not gonna be on the album & that isnt the type of music he usually makes so unless he makes a pop rap album thats pretty hard. and he doesnt really promo his albums the best he can

I think the biggest benefit is that he has turned 100s of thousands of casual fans into hardcore fans. That's going to be huge for him
I've seen so many Drake haters now turn into Kendrick stans, they literally have a home now, they didn't before

Yeah, that's why they supported his diss tracks so much. Supporting an entire album is a whole different ball game. Especially if he isn't going at Drake on the album (which is the very reason why his latest songs got the kind of support they got in the first place).
