It’s important to remember that Spotify is a Swedish company and that could matter down the line.

Apple’s the biggest company in the world with a market cap of over $3 trillion. If Apple wanted to they could easily push Spotify out of the US market.

Alphabet is also way bigger than Spotify with a market cap close to $2.5 trillion so it’s not impossible that YT Music could take over in the future.

Things can flip real quick. Spotify has the most subs now but it’s still a small player compared to the big guys. Just to compare: Apple: 3.4 Trillion, Google: 2.3 Trillion, Spotify: 64 billion.

That's a tired excuse. If you truly believe he doesn't care about streams you wouldn't care to be in here defending the album. The album got the usual standard promo, music videos, live performances, radio, they even added The Heart Part 5 to the album to boost its streams. Was Heart Part 4 added to DAMN?
