they use to but they learned it doesnt count. now they just stream themselves in playlists. they are a reason for a lot of the rule changes for hot 100.

About 1.3 million of the daily streams are from the US the rest from other places i think it makes sense.

As I understand it, there's a 15-sec ad of the Weeknd's music video that plays after various videos and the views from those ads are being counted towards the total views of the actual music video.
