It's his third highest project on Billboard right now. The two above it are his most recent album and his most agreed upon classic (Take Care).

On Spotify, it's also one of his three albums that are currently in the Global Top 200 (For All the Dogs and Views).

And it is also one of his four albums within the Top 100 on Apple Music right now, at #72 (For All the Dogs and Take Care before it, Her Loss after it)

The Curry a***ogy for HNVM would be a game where he shoots a total of 15 threes and misses all of them besides four straight made in the final quarter. So he had a bad game overall but performed well in the final quarter.

The overall album was not a commercial success, but Jimmy Cooks absolutely was.

I'm not even tryna dunk on HNVM, I love that album, I'm just showing that one successful single, or lack thereof, does not determine the successfulness of an entire album

Dawn is pulling in almost triple the amount of daily streams that Honestly, Nevermind is, and Dawn released 6 months prior, and also doesn't have a hit anywhere near the level of Jimmy Cooks.

Yeah and one's a studio album which had over a year of promo & countless concerts & videos stuff done for it for over a year after release, everyone expected it to follow AH's success

HNVM is in the top 3 most successful surprise drops so calling it a flop seems very weird

CLB's cover and date were revealed the week of its' release, same as Dawn.

It received virtually zero promotion and zero videos after October 2021, a month after release, and never got a dedicated tour for it, same as Honestly, Nevermind.

CLB was literally 100% more successful than Honestly, Nevermind was. The surprise drop/lack of post-release promo excuse doesn't work. I can easily name three surprise drop projects that were more successful

CLB/Dawn FM were both talked about by drake/the weeknd on socials for literally years before they came out. CLB had a whole ass trailer made for it in Oct 2020, a year before the album came out, where he said it was dropping Jan 2021, it didn't come out for another year lol

Weeknd was also tweeting about dawn fm from early 2021, he was constantly tweeting about him working on the album and how good it is etc, he even released singles for it

it can't be a surprise album if people knew theyre coming. A surprise drop is literally unexpected. I'm a big drake fan, literally no one knew Drake was dropping HNVM that night, especially not a god damn dance album, mfs were pissed loool
