Niggas are gonna argue themselves to death why Kendrick isn’t on top but those arguments won’t leave the internet
Everyone knows who runs s*** now
GNX out now and another #1 single otw
Lawsuit man stans extra antsy to turn this into an L
Crazy numbers for a surprise drop with a 12 song album
You ain’t gotta lie too kick it
Lawsuit man stans extra antsy to turn this into an L
They need to worry about what IG packs drizzler is gonna drop next
Mr Morale did 295k. Crazy after all the manufactured industry backed hype this year Kendrick managed to lose popularity since 2022
A bit lower than I expected but great streaming numbers non the less.
Does make me wonder what the total would be had the record had a leadup of even a couple days with all the vinyls/cds/etc available.
edit: just realized these are projections, wonder what the final will be.
Damn FATD is twice the length of GNX and only outsold it by 100K units
Me when I don’t know how anything works
Drake stans taking this as a victory when we haven’t even seen Drakes post-beef numbers yet lol.
Wait until his next bloated 25 track album only does 300k
Some of the same users itt were posting months ago about how his next album was doing 500k+ easy and now the goal posts are being moved

And when I said it would be less then Tyler ppl laughed
It's more than Tyler. He had physicals
"12 track album. No press. No promo. Surprise release."
Anybody suggesting any of those things is being mad disingenuous.
#1. Cole's last 3 albums have each had 12 tracks so stop acting like niggas haven't dropped 12-track projects and put up massive numbers before.
#2. This album has been promoted since it dropped. Everything that happened this year was promo for the album.
#3. A surprise release shouldn't matter. Drake has done a handful of surprise releases before and the expectation was always that they would do massive numbers regardless because once the album drops, people would dial in.
This further establishes Kendrick as a 300M+ US streams artist. This will be his third straight album dropping and never reaching 350M US streams.
Oh and btw, the album has to finish the tracking week strong to debut with 291k. If the numbers over the next 3 days experience a significant drop, it might end up debuting with like 285k or something.
GNX - 325 million

The Off-Season really did amazing numbers, only had 12 tracks as well

Cope, this album dropped out of no where at 9am Friday. No one was expecting anything
Her loss has 4 more tracks and almost doubles in streams lol
512 is not “almost double” of 325
Also 2022 Drake was still huge
Idk man this feels weird. Would’ve done +400k fw if he dropped in july.
All that hype don’t feel the same 4 months later boi
Everyone is over the beef and back to accepting the fact that Kendrick is a J Cole tier artist

Y’all can qualify and quantify it as much as you want but the history books will only say that Travis’ ten year old mixtape had the highest first week sales of any rap album in 2024
