nothing I google comes close to 24M

riaa says it's 24x latin plat, I think he's confusing it with that. Latin platinum is 60k sales lol vs 1million in US. riaa says its at 1.44m.

Latin music will never shift as many copies as US/European music, because they don't buy or use premium streaming services as much, all the top latin artists are constantly trying to break into america for a reason

it's out for 8 hours and already has 6m views

also out for 8 hours and 500k views

Bad Bunny is big in terms of tours and Spotify/YouTube but he isn't as massive a global force as you'd imagine.

These were the top 10 biggest artists of 2020/2021. Bad Bunny didn't make the top 10 in both years. Why? Because the US is BY FAR the biggest music market in the world. If you can dominate in the US, you've dominated in most of the world.

Including Drake. In the world, Bad Bunny surpassed Drake. Since at least 2020

Surpassed Drake how? Don't let those Spotify numbers deceive you. There are several streaming services Bad Bunny doesn't dominate.

For context, Bad Bunny’s 2020 album, Yo Hago Lo Que Me Da La Gana sold over 24 million copies worldwide.

Bad Bunny is the closest thing to Adele, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson level famous in our times. Just let that soak in if you’re just realizing who this guy is.

I’ve been following him since 2017/2018 that’s why I’m finding this thread’s comments so out of touch and strange.

You do realize that not all countries have their units count the same way, right? Stop making uninformed posts with such confidence.

Jack is doing 40k on a good week, and that’s being extremely generous

You know Jack's 2020 debut album did 51K, right?

source on 24m? I highly doubt that's true. He doesn't have enough popularity in US/Europe to be doing that

pretty sure Drake washes Bad Bunny globally. an artist that apparently sells 24m copies of an album isn't only getting 5.6m views on his latest music video in 7 hours

I love Bad Bunny as much as the next person but people need to stop spreading propaganda without context and facts. Bad Bunny isn't the global force people think he is lol. He absolutely is BY FAR the biggest latin artist in the world and that's a huge f***ing deal but he isn't coming close to the biggest artists in the US.

And drake dropped CLB last year, while Bad Bunny didn't drop anything

Spotify is the biggest streaming service on the planet I feel like it's numbers are a bit more important lol

how does it mean nothing? if you're going to rank the biggest artists in the world how do you do that besides looking at global consumption? if kpop stans are gaming the system with mass buying campaigns that doesn't delegitimize everyone else

it means nothing for me personally and i'm just honest

bad bunny isn't the biggest artist obviously but he's def more well known than "seventeen"

real consumption >>> bubble/fake/scam consumption. we all know kpop stans using bots for youtube views, they also used bots for streams on spotify until spotify removed them
