serenadetbh i want to become an auditor for billboard so i can audit the 55k people who bought a nav album.
i just need to account for the fact that there are 55k real life human beings out there who own a nav album that they bought with their hard earned money.
It’s most likely not 55K people. There are 6 different digital versions, 2 standard versions, a signed version, and four merch boxes

For these C-list/D-list artists even doing these numbers first week is a huge W. If a nigga was gonna sell 10k, and found a way to push his numbers to 60k then more than likely he would absolutely do it.
And as far as your logic of “well why not do more” there is obviously budget/resource constraints that eventually come into play. Someone might be willing to spend $100k to fudge numbers but not $5 million

But again this is capitalism on other side, if fans are genuinely spending 70 bucks for 5 different versions, to labels it doesnt really matter if its 1 fan or 5 fans doing it.

HugeSopranosFanNot for nothing I think that all the massive streamers hating Kendrick and telling their fan’s he’s trash/the biggest hiphop streamer having a legit hate twitter dedicated to pushing narratives against him is starting to work. If he has a deluxe he should probably consider dropping it to change the narrative’s because it’s definitely working.

This is pretty accurate, streamers are the new celebrity and realisticly Kendrick is not popular at all in this circle.

I think his music is terrible but I was surprised to see how positively some people talk about him online.
He’s also really popular amongst Indian rap fans since he’s like the first mainstream representation of an Indian rapper
