You know people are coping when they have to lie in order to save themselves from their own flip-flopping lmao.

I've never said sales = quality. I've said that sales does indicate that many people like a particular song. The most streamed song in the world must be enjoyed by many people since it's performing like that, no? That doesn't mean it's the best song in the world.

Something that's fairly simple to understand, yet you fail to do so despite being told this many times since 2022.

I've never said sales = quality.

    You sure about that?

Why you tryna speak on something you weren’t there to witness lmao? What even.

You’re doing the exact same thing, just for the opposite side

All I said was “Party is only on this album for 21/76 minutes” and you started saying “well actually he probably executive produced it” nigga YOU don’t know that

You tried to point out how PARTY not being the primarily vocalist makes it weird for it to be credited to him as a lead.

I pointed out he could’ve contributed a lot outside of vocals. That’s very realistic.

You are tryna shut that idea down by claiming he just possibly could have not done extensive writing or other things with no real proof lmao

He’ll figure out a new way to do a loophole like the usuals do.

Him, Weeknd, and others were exploiting the bundles in 2020 and then Billboard made them change it up and now they’ll change it up once more

The actual credits of the album only have him contributing to the songs he had vocals on.

You are assuming that he was writing the majority of these songs.

I am stating the literal fact that he is only on the album for 21 out of 76 minutes.

That is weird for any vocalist who is credited as the lead artist on an album.

A producer album is not the same because they are not vocalists and they are producing every single song

Going by Zacks ed logic, he probably believes Michael Bay films are the some of the best films ever created in cinema because they rake in millions at the box office while films from someone like Martin Scorsese aren't good because they barely generate a profit and are considered "Oscar bait"

It’s a collaborative album, not a solo album.

It’s really not hard to understand how in this instance there could be more contributions in ways outside of direct vocals on songs.

this thread originated as a safe space for drake stans to flex his numbers. but since the beef and kendrick outperforming with gnx and nlu, its become a 24/7 attitude era hardcore match

  • Apr 2, 2025

KTT has always tried to say another rapper or another artist is as big or even bigger than Drake in many years. The Weeknd after Blinding Lights, Kendrick after Damn, Post Malone, Justin Bieber, Bad Bunny etc.

And sales do equal quality. People wouldn't listen if it's bad? I am not talking about the first 1-4 weeks since people are just listening to hear it for the first time, but if an album is selling like crazy almost a year later without a hit carrying the sales then it's obviously and without any doubt due to the album being very good and enjoyable.

Yes and that would usually be on the writing or production side.

For example, Kanye on KIDS SEE GHOSTS isn’t the most present vocally, but he has production credits on 5 of the 7 songs.

PARTYNEXTDOOR has production credits on 1/21 songs, and only has writing credits on the songs he has vocals on. Considering the fact that there are a handful of Drake solo tracks, it’s a logical assumption to make that Party’s writing credits mostly came from his own vocal contributions

No it's not. Anyone with an even elementary understanding of the English language can understand "sales do equal quality" is not what you said yesterday. You used words like "good, enjoyable" for music with high sales indicating quality. NOT popularity

Can't toosie slide your way outta this one

What did I say after that? I stated that it only counts after the initial weeks of release. If a song is the most streamed song 4 weeks after it released then yes, majority of people are enjoying the song.

    As I always said.

It must suck to waste hours looking through a thread with 4475 pages just to claim you found something which actually is pretty much what I said yesterday. Which was 3 YEARS after the screenshot that got posted.

    They try, they fail. Again.

You’re drawing a conclusion that once again isn’t really solid and can easily not be true.

How do you know a lot of these songs weren’t stuff PARTY had already started working on? Stuff meant to be on his prior album but didn’t make it?

There is plenty of reasonable scenarios that come to mind where PARTY had a strong contribution towards the foundation of these songs and their existence.
