lmao, okay thats fine! defending a rapist being on an album because its "art" makes me think you're a piece of s*** lowkey.

You could name your top 25 albums ever and I guarantee you I can find a rapist somewhere in the credits of at least one of those albums

what was the artistic point of having kodak that couldnt have been done with another artist?

was kodak on there to make some point about generational trauma leading to becoming a rapist or something?

Would you rather it was someone who committed domestic violence? Or pedophilia? Or murder? Or any other crime that you deem to be “okay” to appear on an album?

explain to me, what did kodak black add to the album that another non-rapist (of a 16 year old) couldnt have done?

my point wasnt even "what level of crime do we draw the line at"

its the fact you tried to say that promoting gambling was worse than promoting a rapist.

I can’t answer that question considering I’m not Kendrick Lamar. But according to Kendrick’s own lyrics on the album, he saw parts of himself in Kodak, so maybe that has to do with why he chose him specifically

I never said these words. That’s the point you drew from it.

I already explained multiple times that if the roles were reversed I would feel the same way.

"Working with controversial musicians, like Kendrick working with Kodak Black, is still night and day from promoting gambling to high school teenagers in a 5 hour Twitch stream with Adin Ross"

This is the quote from your post, working with rapists "is still night and day from promoting gambling".

    What am I misunderstanding?

    “Working with controversial musicians

I never specifically said anything about rape.

My point is that working with a controversial musician, no matter what the crime, is more understandable than working with a controversial streamer/someone outside of the music world.

You consistently try to make this point that I "can't spin drake going on with adin" yet I've already mentioned I dislike drake doing gambling streams and my post history backs this up.

So find another lie you can use for why I think working with rapists is bad.

I disagree, I think they're one in the same. Who you decide to link yourself with publicly, who you have in your circle etc reflects on you regardless of the intent or the "purpose".

Lmao you spent like 4 posts putting words in my mouth, relax.

On top of that my argument has been the same since the jump. Working with rapists regardless of the context is just as bad if not worse than promoting gambling.

Welcome to this thread. Everyday it consists of fader saying some dumb s*** just to stick it to Drake fans

Remember, he thinks Post Malone is a “nice guy” while running to racist hillbillies for some album sales and re-inventing himself as a Morgan Wallen 2.0 after using black people for credibility.

You’re essentially arguing that all art should only be made by good people.

    • Put words in peoples mouths to avoid making an argument.

I never said art should only be made by good people. I'm saying that promoting a rapist on your album is just as bad if not worse than promoting gambling. That has been my argument from the start and that has not changed despite you trying to take it off course multiple times.

Making art with someone isn’t “promoting” their life choices
