To be fair, Kendrick literally said we hate the women you f*** (and then went on tour with SZA, had Serena out for Super Bowl) so yes, they literally hate her

Love sza but people were sitting down and getting drinks during her set in Houston

This is obviously headed by Kendrick

It’s never been a numbers thing for 90% of people, when a certain fan base constantly makes fun of artists for sales they are obviously going to get it back.

I wonder if Kendrick stans in here are so insufferable because they know deep down this is not possible for Kendrick without Drake in his mouth. His own music wasn’t getting him to this level. And that might forever haunt these stans

The fact hat he’s doing this off the back of bodying Drake in the biggest rap battle of all time makes it even sweeter as a long time fan

They all admit it indirectly but scared to directly say it. 🤣

she was sooooo good, and for someone who had seen kenny a couple times already, was the highlight for me

i should take this to the kenny tour thread but i actually was a bit underwhelmed by his stage presence for this tour.

more and more what sets you apart as a live performer is making the crowd feel special. make them feel like they got something the other shows didn’t. he unfortunately didn’t have much of that this time around. less fan interaction than i appreciate at a live show

And THAT'S why Kendrick featured her on GNX multiple times and brought her along on the tour as a co-headliner. She holds her own and is ultimately a huge positive, someone who can pull their own weight numbers-wise and impact-wise.

I'm not about to have niggas talk down on SZA's power as a mainstream act, man. Her last tour (which was her first arena tour) grossed more money from fewer dates than Kendrick's most successful tour before this current tour.

CTRL and SOS have each sold over 6M units each in the US. SOS is the best-charting female album this decade and one of the bestselling, across all genres. She's by NO MEANS the small fry Kendrick fans are trying to make her out to be. Even the success of Luther is tied to her because she's the one who gets insane pop airplay between her and Kendrick. They're forgetting she scored massive SOLO hits off her own album like Kill Bill and Snooze lol.

Kendrick fans trying to deny her impact on the success he's currently enjoying would be like if Drake and Rihanna dropped a single together that spent 9 weeks at #1 (when Drake had never had a song perform that well previously) and then they went on a stadium tour together and Drake fans came on here trying to suggest Rihanna had nothing to do with that success.

You're the first person I'm seeing saying this about Kendrick's performance tbh. Most people who have gone to the tour say he's the highlight and he's performed pretty well from the clips I've seen but who knows.

Saying Kendrick has more pull in Europe isn’t hating. There are places in US where Sza will perform better.

Nobody is trying to make her a small fry you are delusional

We’re just not crediting 100% of Kendrick’s current success to her like y’all are ridiculously trying to do

Also, Rihanna literally gave Drake his first two #1s and yet y’all never bring that up whatsoever

Tell me more about how Kenny is "opening doors for SZA in Europe" when they both book the same sized venues for their solo tours and SOS is currently sitting #19 in the UK while GNX is #98

he performed well yea, he always does in my experience. it’s beyond* just rapping all your songs with no backing track for me tho. showmanship goes beyond that stuff is all im saying

Rihanna gave Drake his first two #1 records, the first one being at a time when still a newer artist, the second being right at the start of the year that Drake’s fame catapulted to new heights

On the other hand, Kendrick has been working with SZA since she was a literal nobody, and HE gave HER her first huge mainstream record with All the Stars

Kendrick Lamar already had platinum albums and hugely successful records before SZA ever released her debut album. Drake is the one who relied on Rihanna heavily for pop success early on in his career

Bruh, I am talking rest of europe too. you know what I am saying. Kendrick right now will do bigger venues solo in places like poland/Denmark than SZA will.

I was answering how someone who said concert benefits only kendrick and no one else. I gave an example.

    interesting take.

for me back and forth karaoke that most rappers do with skipping words is annoying. I used to hate Kendrick when he would skip words for crowd interactions and I am glad he stopped doing that now.

In the end it's music and how you enjoy it is on you.

I dont think the rihanna collabs helped boost Drakes career tbh. Kendrick did help sza though with all the stars no one really knew who she was then and he/tde got her the placement.

Why do yall be tryna evoke Zionism in the name of defending Drake? Over Nokia of all songs

remember the guy who evoked Emmett Till over Drake because he lost out to Taylor Swift lol
