Cause Billboard/Luminate database counts streams for the international version tracklist of Thank Me Later that includes Best I Ever Had.
Makes more sense now
HUT is only 1.5k sales away from dropping out of the top 20 now, I don't think the album is bad enough for that
definitely wont end the year in top 10 ytd
Only 2 songs above 1milli on Spotify
Damn
tiktok killed music for me & many people i know

The album had already long dropped out of the Top 20, it only got boosted up because the full vinyl released on May 16th
tiktok killed music for me & many people i know
Sounds like a you problem

Damn
No hits at all this year so far so it's not a surprise
Sounds like a you problem
i'd just rather watch tiktok instead of listen to music tbh, that's how it seems to be for many many people thesedays

You don’t really love music then, you just want your attention satiated
Nigga said he’d rather watch brain rot than listen to music

hard to love it these days when most new releases are ass tbh
it's why so many cultural moments are happening on tiktok/other apps instead of in music now
music as a whole is losing its cultural influence due to tiktok+music being as
Nigga said he’d rather watch brain rot than listen to music
He also acts like TikTok is a new platform that got released this year lmao
TikTok isn't the problem. It's been around for a long time. The problem is that nobody is releasing good (pop) music and many big artists dropped in the last 2 years so it's also not a big surprise that they're not dropping anything right now
I admit I don’t listen to as much music as I want to nowadays but it’s because I’m super busy with work & life that I don’t have much time for dedicated listening anymore. But I’ve never once thought in my free time “I’d rather watch some TikTok than listen to new music”

This is just what iv seen by observing friends/family tbh, 5~ years ago there wasn't an app that stole people's attention anywhere near the same as tiktok does

music as a whole is losing its cultural influence due to tiktok+music being as
1. What “cultural moments” are happening on TikTok?
2. Most trends and sounds on TikTok are literally fueled by music, so to say its losing is cultural relevance is just flat out incorrect
Pop stans on Twitter are hyping up f***ing Addison Rae man
Thats how you know how dry this s*** is right now

Brother, the TikTok craze literally began 5 years ago
Idk why people keep treating TikTok as some new app. It’s been more relevant for longer periods of time than apps like Instagram and Snapchat ever were

TikTok was already big as f*** 5 years ago due to the pandemic and Addison Rae, Charli D’Amelio etc. lmao

"More relevant" than IG for a longer period of time? No
More time consuming? Yes

It's way bigger now
It's way bigger now
And? Did I say anything different dumb f***?
TikTok was already big as f*** in the US in 2020 because of the pandemic and thats a fact
1. What “cultural moments” are happening on TikTok?

Almost every trend is from tiktok, every largely talked about moment happens there
Also same with streaming. Kai Cenat + Speed are 10x bigger than any rapper that's blown up in the past 5 years.
Pop is trying hard as f*** to push Tate McRae, no one cares, she's absolutely nothing compared to these tiktokers/streamers etc
