Her music sounds nothing like Carti’s and Travis’s.
Doja raps as much as Sweetie and better. That don’t make sense to me but I admit Doja's popular songs are the pop ones. It don't discredit the rap songs just like Nicki doing Starships didn't make her a rapper. Maybe it's not misogyny but she's being singled out if we ain't calling her rap what does that make Juice Wrld and Carti type music

They’re all putting out rap songs and rap albums. Not a single project Doja Cat has released since 2018 can be classified as a rap album
they have singing on their projects too along with pop songs, they aren't rappers

There are genres for a reason. It’s why Ed Sheeran doesn’t get considered a rapper even though he’s rapped on all of his albums.
If Doja Cat is a rapper, then Ed Sheeran is a rapper as well. Do I need to explain why he doesn’t get that label?
