Pathetic.

Are you stupid? What album is meant to have sold more? An album that dropped 5 months ago or one that dropped 8 months ago?
Albums typically fall off with time
Nokia out performed by Luther too

No argument there. I'm just saying that if an album dropped 8 months ago and another dropped 5 months ago, wouldn't you typically expect the older album to have sold more units? Especially when the older one not only debuted with more units but spent more weeks moving more units as well.

Not really because the stat was for 2025 alone so Gnx missed out on its largest months of tracking for that statistic
most people i know either went to the show to see Kendrick perform or to see SZA perform, which is why her set was equally as long lmfao
you talking from the outside and from the few statements you seen on Twitter is not telling what the million+ are attending the show for that’s literally named after the album
Oh, and one final point about this: with every major superstar, there are thousands of people who buy tickets to tours just to see what all the hype is about. That's why huge fans/stans of those artists complain about casuals/non-fans copping all the tickets just to go to the shows and not even know the lyrics to the songs or to spend the whole show on their phones.
It happens with every artist, not just Kendrick (in case that's what you had an issue with in my post).

Actually, it didn't. It dropped late November. And you forget that it had a massive boost from vinyls sales + Superbowl. Even at that, it had 6 weeks in 2025 to move sales before $$$4U was even released. And even after $$$4U was released, it was benefitting from being released on vinyls + the Superbowl boost so it outsold $$$4U throughout February and March. That's enough to keep it ahead for 2025.

all that cope aside, the album is still getting more streams in July
thousands of people paid money to take time out their day, go sit at a 3 hour concert surrounded by 10s of thousands of people, hella traffic in and out, spend hundreds on parking, tickets, merch, drinks, food, and sacrificing a night of their life because they just wanted to see what all the hype was about
got it lmfao
most people barely sat down to watch the halftime show let alone knew the beef even happened or its details and you saying they just casually did all of the above after a long day of work cause “let’s see what the hype is about” ight

How is it cope when I basically just admitted that GNX is the better selling album? You really are dense. Smh.

You're really stupid if you think the only people who go to music concerts and festivals are stans. Many people have money lying around that they don't have an immediate urgent need for and they spend it on outdoor experiences. That includes going to watch blockbuster movies, going to festivals/concerts with friends even though they're not necessarily fans of their artists performing.
You confidently saying this just lets me know you don't go to concerts so congratulations for exposing yourself lmao.

Another stupid post because the whole crowd in that field got the loudest during Kendrick's Superbowl performance when he teased performing Not Like Us and then when he eventually performed the song. All th viral/talked-about moments of the performance were from when he performed Not Like Us. Go and watch the clip again. I believe it's on YouTube.

word ima keep being stupid and go back to work, have a blessed day
people going to concerts just cause they want to see what the hype is about
most people don’t even want to spend $100 on a ticket, cheapest tickets to this were near double that for nosebleeds
most people their are big fans of Dot and SZA and the beef songs were 11 minutes of a 3 hour set
I was actually at the show and seen what got people going, nigga barely used the beef songs as the crux of the show
again, you got it

I don't know why you're laughing. You think everyone at every Kendrick show on the GNX tour was a massive stan and that's why they were only lit for a couple songs and not the entire set or even when he performed his most known, older hits. Yes, you're clearly very stupid for thinking that.
Oh, and of course, have a blessed day as well ♥️

never said they were a massive stan, idk why all big fans of music have to be stans to ya’ll on here
my girl listens to a 4 hour shared SZA playlist daily with her friends, are they stans now or just music lovers who wanted to go see her perform and “oh nice, Kendrick is bringing her on tour too, bet we love him” you know, know people talk in real life in our generation about s*** they are interested in. most niggas are broke and not just tryna “see what the hype is about” unless they already tapped in some way
I remember (since I was at the show and you weren’t but keep speaking factually like you were off of Twitter clips) all the Kendrick fans standing and singing along to his songs while the SZA fans would take a break, and then when she came on we’d take a break and they’d be singing all her songs and rinse and repeat for the whole show lmao
it was a show of Kendrick and SZA fans. most people who went to see what the hype was about, were probably dragged by a BIG fan of either artist if they themselves aren’t already tapped into some of the artists music
but lemme go back to being stupid since the fair weather fan is the majority in your opinion and what made this tour what it was because of 11 minutes of beef music
That's why it's pathetic. Dude can't even form his own thoughts.
The fact that u can't see the irony behind why I did that is very telling.
21 capping, Drake gets plenty of love in the UK
Nah. It wasn't London.
He was on a podcast with Akademiks a few years ago talking about how more people in Atlanta listen to Future than Drake.
Not really much of a hot take considering that Future's from Atlanta but 21 was essentially implying that Drake wasn't as big "in the hood" as people think.
Kendrick stans don't like to talk about that album. It never happened, according to them.
Lol....what are you talking about?
In 2022, Kendrick fans were fighting for their life on KTT defending that album when stans of other rappers kept discrediting it and calling it "Mid Steppers."
It was always praised as Kendrick's most vulnerable and personal album and conceptually creative. Plus, the tour got praised too.
You just pulled that out of your ass lol.
no the album performed really badly. short term and long term. He actually tried to have a tiktok moment with N95 too but completeley fell flat. All the social commentary was neutered self help advice. It sold 20 units a week 1 year after release. By far his worst most uninspired album.
Yep this may be the dumbest thing I've read on here.
The fact that u can't see the irony behind why I did that is very telling.
There's nothing telling about it beyond you being dumb.
Lol, this nigga trying to cope with this "Well actually, 8 months isn't long ago 🤓" s***
It's outselling NEWER albums, happy?
An album released 9 months ago being in the top selling albums of the past 8 months isn’t really insane
You’re acting like the album came out 5 years ago lmao

Well, when I say Kendrick stans, I don't just mean his stans on KTT2. And I meant they don't like to talk about the album in terms of its commercial performance. It wasn't as successful or impactful as his past albums like GKMC/DAMN so you'll catch most of them referring back to DAMN as a reference point for a standard Kendrick album more than they'd do with Mr. Morale. At least, that's what they did until GNX came out. Now, they're all numbers merchants.
