• Kendrick’s newest album at this time had released a year and a half before Drake’s most recent album (May 2022 vs October 2023)

August 2025:

• Kendrick’s most recent album GNX released in November 2024.
• At this time, both $$4U (2025) and Take Care (2011) are charting ahead of it.
• Drake’s most recent album released 3 months after Kendrick’s most recent album (February 2025 vs November 2024)

It’s the same thing in both scenarios. Last year’s looks worse for Drake because Kendrick’s newest album at that point was two years old

I never implied Drake, Taylor, and Morgan weren't popular or dominating the charts.

On the contrary, I said that having a bunch of albums sell or chart well doesn't automatically make them classics or influential.

If we going off numbers, then My Turn is the greatest rap album of the 2020's, Tortured Poets is the greatest pop album of the 2020's, and Dangerous:The Double Album is Album Of The Decade. See what I mean?

Right now, Morgan Wallen has been very influential in the comeback of country music dominating the charts. That’s what people are listening to. You not considering it to be good doesn’t change their impact and influence. You don’t have to like it, but stop denying reality. Now if people are still listening to them 3-5 years from now in mass, his albums could be considered classics. Classic doesn’t mean “ktt and online critics like this album”
