Yeah what does Thug know, he only owns the label that Gunna is signed to and released the album under
The nigga said it out of his own mouth on an anonymous random call
And plus there’s a clip asking one of his industry boys to also bot his music lol
how do you know what he listens to. He's always here d***riding him so thats all ik him for
The problem is yall think d***riding = being honest about how the beef went
You gotta tell yourself thug is lying because you spend a lot of time going through the chart data
It’s just nice to see that none of the data crunching and number monitoring is actually driven out of an interest in charts
S*** is solely just to support whatever bias or agenda niggas wanna push on here lmao
There’s no reason to not believe a dude who literally has an artist on his label say he botted his s*** (again, on a random call that was never meant to even be public) outside of being a d*** sucker
Think for sure they try to bot, but im p sure its not effective tho and less so in 2025 than 2022

It’s funny to watch lol

i would think so, the only rap albums to sell more than 100k in streaming units this year are MUSIC and $$$4U. something definitely changed recently.
It’s funny cause i don’t even think Fader listens to Kendrick like yall think he does.
Yall just call anyone who disagrees with you a “kbot”
I don’t. Love Kendrick but he’s not even in my Top 5 favorite rappers all-time
how do you know what he listens to. He's always here d***riding him so thats all ik him for
I don’t d***ride Kendrick at all, I’m just objective about him and give him respect and credit where it’s due
Its also seems like Spotify cracked down on botting somewhat this year (maybe due to the UMG lawsuit) because the numbers last year were so inflated compared to now. Again, some regulars here were calling it a conspiracy theory and that artists were just not making good enough songs compared to last year. Notice how they're moving the goal post now
There isn’t even that many Kendrick stans on here lol
There’s dudes that fw his music but like 4-5 diehards
I literally can go weeks without listening to a single Kendrick song. The fact that they think I’m a “Kbot” is hilarious

Two things are true. Yes, Spotify has cracked down on botting this year. And yes, mainstream artists are not releasing songs that are good enough (on a commercial appeal level) to captivate a wide audience for a long period of time. Do you not understand what nuance is?
7 Months -> 1B
8 Months -> 2B
16 Months -> 3B
19 Months -> 4B
19 Months -> 5B
The fact that you said its’ streams were “slowing down” when it’s reached each of its billions at a consistent pace is crazy @mangotflu
May not be the reason for this but I think they're genuinely cracking down on bot farms or whatever. I'm not accusing any particular artist or whatever of using them, I think the entire industry and every label was using them at a point.
Why are the same idiots itt only talking about Spotify?
100% sure AM is even worse with botting because it's easier to do it there since we don't have the exact numbers on this platform
It makes sense because Drake is definitely botting massively on AM

Exactly. Drake has been botting for years on there, it’s extremely obvious
A handful of artists like J. Cole, Russ and even Drake called out the use of bots and y'all were on here arguing with them — artists who are actually in the industry and are aware of all the shenanigans that go on behind the scenes. Y'all called them liars, especially Drake, meanwhile this is s*** that anyone even remotely close to the industry has known for years now.
Drake would know because he's never indulged in any of the industry smoke and mirror tactics other artists have openly embraced like bundles, radio deals, 5-6 versions of the same song, etc.
I'm here for all this s*** being exposed in a real way.
Now every artist must be using bots because the Weeknd/XO have gotten exposed as using them
I thought you meant in 2024.
But still, this doesn’t change a thing. Am I saying Morgan Wallen isn’t popular? No, I’m not saying that at all.
What I’m saying is he wouldn’t be putting up these abnormal streaming figures if his albums were not abnormally long. One Thing At A Time doesn’t come anywhere near 5.6B streams that quickly if it was only 20 songs. That’s not even an opinion, that’s just common sense
It'd do a bit less but not as much as you think imo
If # of tracks was so important why is TTPD basically flopping? 31 tracks and there's like 13 albums outstreaming it this year
It blows my mind that it’s about to be September 2025 and there are still people that deny the effect that longer tracklists have on streaming numbers or that artists are purposefully releasing longer projects to boost streaming stats.
We’re literally seeing it play out in real time. When was the last time a major artist dropped THREE projects IN A ROW that were all 30+ songs in length?
What does Morgan Wallen have to say that requires three separate albums that have an average runtime of 107 minutes a piece?
That's what makes this even more insane though to be fair.. 99.9% artists could drop 3 albums in a few years that long and they'd fall off fast as f*** because people would be bored
but his fans are eating it up more and more

13 albums outstreaming it out of the… thousands upon thousands of albums that get released every year.
Y’all talk about music in here like there’s a total of 50 releases a year
