Cardi might have best rap first week since FATD at this rate. She has like 50 variants.

    Bieber projected #4 78k

Unfortunate cause the album was pretty decent, horrible rollout though.

After announcing the in-store album signings I would be hella surprised if it does anything under 200k tbh.

I think the goal is to pass Nicki’s last first week which tbh I don’t blame her lol

Yeah the Biebs took an L here. 78K with 44 tracks AND physicals that shipped? That’s horrific commercial performance.

Shame because the albums combined is arguably his best work

To be fair, it was only CDs that shipped so far, not vinyl.

Still shockingly low for a pop artist of his magnitude

They ditched him in the 2010s. He’s been a singles artist this whole decade tbh, he doesn’t have a real fanbase like that anymore just casual listeners. Maroon 5 type s***.

Yea and theres just so many variants and probably more otw. Plus I think she will have pop feats like beyonce and maybe lady gaga and bruno on it.

That didn’t stop Harry Styles lol.

The main reasons he lost his fanbase is cause he became d*** addicted and acting erratic (major aura kill) + he has no musical identity anymore (going from generic radio Pop, to R&B, to Christian, etc).

Idk, I wouldn’t say he lost his fanbase. He just released two surprise albums with zero promotion and a more mature, stripped back sound that his fanbase isn’t really all that big on. If rumors are true of him having a traditional pop released locked and loaded for 2026, I think that album will do big for him.

His last traditional pop release was the 8th highest selling album of 2021

Harry Styles has the Q baiting gimmick.

She’s doing 6 different days of album signings.

Also I think she prob is going hard with instore signings because for many record stores Luminate/Billboard artificially weighs their sales instead of using raw numbers. They don’t get sales reporting from most smaller non-chain stores so with the few they do track they weigh their sales to account for the ones they don’t track.

For example they could track 1 record store in NYC, and every 1 sale counts as 7 sales to makeup for lack of tracking for 6 other stores in NYC area.

There’s dozens of physical stores that count like that for the chart.

Obviously I think every store she is doing signings in are ones her team knows are apart of the panel that counts for charts.

If those sales are multiplied then 5,000 signed copies can turn into a number like 25,000 copies counting for the chart lol

Damn, so if she doesn’t do like 300K first week this is gonna be a massive flop

Not tryna burst a bubble here but what do you think his magnitude is? To be frank dude hasn't been huge at all pop wise this entire decade.

He's a solid sized artist still but he's living off name brand now the beliebers mostly all grew up and I'd argue he's been on the low end of pop stars for awhile it's like 7 including foreign stars id put ahead of him.

This stuff is so pathetic. All of these shenanigans just to get a big enough first week so the album isn't labelled a flop but none of that will matter if the album doesn't have enough longevity in the long run.

He’s one of if not the most popular pop artist of our generation celebrity wise. Everyone knows who Justin Bieber is. And idk why y’all keep saying that about this decade for him, Justice was a pretty successful release

I addressed that in my post with the name brand comment like yeah he's famous but the way you framed him was kinda weird cause he's been getting lapped by most of his competition this decade heavily.

He's not near Weeknd,Bad Bunny,Bruno Mars or Drake and that's just the men. I'm not saying he's a nobody but "pop star of his magnitude" for him is basically like not that big.
