Yet you in here hyping up Taylor Swift
This what I mean when I say all Taylor praise just feels like subtle racism.
There is no way on God’s green Earth that you found SOS to be boring and all sounding the same, yet you think The Life of a Showgirl is a good album
The only explanation for that is pure racism dog

Thinking about that Chinese fan who bought more than 2k copies of Folklore to keep the album constantly at #1 in China...

Were they different covers/colors? I literally had no idea 😭
They all had the same cover.

DIff colours. Two reds, opaque white, blue, clear.
its actually crazy how successful taylor has managed to inflate her numbers cuz according to those first week sales, she's the biggest artist of all time but i've heard bad bunny and drake outside more than her. and this is in texas. her impact is totally different to how i was raised on micheal jackson, r kelly, and celine dion. when my family put me on those classics, i could tell immediately i was listening to otherworldly talent. adele fits this mold today. with taylor i feel i'm listening to generic pop music meant only for the moment. which i don't have an issue with and i think show girl isn't bad. the issue is when her stans try to use fake numbers to portray an ubiquitousness and talent that just doesn't exist

This is real love
I’d do the same for Lorde if she wasn’t a piece of s*** keeping Silver Moon away from us
Ive seen people quoting this “I’m the problem it’s me” lyric on social media but i can count on one hand the amount of times i heard the song.
Heard cruel summer once in an uber ride and had to Shazam it.
She’s lowkey a mysterious artist on some DJ Khaled s***. She’s supposedly everywhere but you never hear it outside unironically
Its weird how I've heard all the 1989 hits but nothing after that and supposedly she is bigger now than she was back then. My mom had the radio on during Covid times and I recognized her voice but I still don't know what song that is. She has the biggest fanbase in the world but her music does not go outside that base. Its far from MJ or even RIhanna.

thats the funny thing. rihanna's music is more ubiquitous to me but because taylor played the system, i'm supposed to believe she's the biggest thing since micheal jackson
Besides the records Taylor broke, it's been quite a year. Some more records broken this year:
Biggest Hot 100 Hit of all Time: (Not Confirmed)

Most Total Weeks in the Top 5:
A Bar SongBlinding Lights
Most Total Weeks in the Top 10:
Lose ControlBlinding Lights
Longest-Charting Song in the Top 10 on Global Spotify:
Birds of a FeatherBlinding Lights
Adding to this, Adele's 21 (617 weeks) is likely to be surpassed as the longest-running female album by Born to Die, which has already spent 609 weeks on the chart and is still charting.
That’s what happens when the swifties are not buying 100 copies each. This did not happen to Adele.
3 rappers in the top 5
Youngboy and Rod Wave putting on for Gen Z
