Harry’s likely to be -100k of Drake which is kinda f***ing wild when you stop and think about it.
He’s clearly tapped into something. The album ain’t even all that.
Made a quick graphic about W1/W2 sales of Future/Kendrick/Bad Bunny/J.Cole to compare 2nd week results
Numbers:
J.Cole = 282k fw, 92k sw , 67% drop and 374k fw+sw
Future: 220k fw, 117k sw , 46% drop and 337k fw+sw
Bad Bunny: 274k fw, 182k sw , 33% drop and 456k fw+sw
Kendrick Lamar: 295k fw, 85k sw , 71% drop and 380k
Kendrick Lamar follows pretty much J.Cole numbers
pd: Didn't include Uzi because deluxe week 2
Bad Bunny really the goat huh

I spent 5 seconds finding those numbers
You have spent much more time being angry/hurt at the 1 post with said numbers

@SupremeStrange look at him lirl
I really wonder what Post Malone's album will do first week. I feel like he could do anywhere from 85-185k first week.
85k? damn if he does 85k I'm gonna laugh so hard in this thread for a month straight. That'd be the biggest flop of all time
he HAS to outsell Gunna at the minimum, that's 150k, anything less is a flop. 150k-250k is my guess

Im thinking 250k+ tbh
I really hate that eeaao is the pleb shorthand for a classic movie now
Movie was aight at best, but another prime example of criticbait/pandering

Apparently I “hate artistic movies” for calling it style over substance
People acting like Kendrick’s album is an A24 film like this s*** is Everything Everything All At Once and just cause it’s not making a billi at the box office doesn’t mean it’s not great.
In reality Kendrick is an MCU level artist. He ain’t some underdog. S***’s blockbuster level. And he just put out the f***ing Eternals in album form
One of the most trash posts I ever saw on this site damn. Every damn line and angle of it. Kinda impressed tbh

Harry the best white male songwriter in mainstream pop
That's way too high.
Post has 3 albums in Spotify's top 15 most streamed albums of all time though, those numbers should be standard
honestly if he doesn't do 250k then there's something wrong with his team. His singles are flopping badly & that itself is a sign his team needs help
there's no doubt the album will have insane longevity, maybe it's just his fanbase? maybe they're just casual as f*** compared to other artists? I dunno but it's weird as hell

Have a friend who has been raving about it. So I think people partial to it are loving it. Everyone got their own tastes but damn I'll never get pop, I just dgi

I think post Malone is partly as fault
Its obvious he isnt motived by the music he is making right now, also his manager be moving weird as hell
Literally had to lock up Post Malone to make that last album, something really weird happened if i remember

!https://youtu.be/I37foYgRMVAI agree with the overall message but this is still a massive cope. After the success of uu, DAMN. and the Black Panther soundtrack, a lot of Kendrick fans had high commercial expectations for his next release (whenever that was gonna be) and rightfully so. He had seemingly broken into another level commercially and for the fans who always praised his acclaimed albums, that was another W to add to him.
The music industry has ALWAYS cared about numbers and they'll always care and fans have been caring about numbers now for decades. Only making this kind of video for Kendrick is wack because if it was Drake who did low numbers, he'd never make a video like this. Hell, he'd probably clown the numbers. He'd never even do this for an artist like Cole who is generally regarded as one who makes more conscious music than Drake.
These numbers can be seen as an L for Kendrick's standard without it meaning anything other than that. No one in their right mind thinks this album somehow spells the end for Kendrick commercially, neither does it mean he won't go on to still make incredible music in the future. We can isolate the performance of one album, call it for what it is, and move on from that. There will be more Kendrick albums in the future and more chances for him to prove himself. It's just very telling seeing all the people jumping to defend him and his numbers because it goes back to what I've always said: he's the most pampered rapper in the industry: by critics, by the media, by the fans, by everyone. Nothing he does can ever been seen as an L or a misstep and that's a very dangerous place to exist as a musician because it never lasts forever and when that heelturn comes, it's always nasty but I digress.
