Kendrick dropped a week after bad bunny and got a number 1 record with 300k in sales first week.
Post not even outselling bad bunny after a month week one and doing 85k.
These two are not the same you f***in idiots.
they both flops. But post deff flopped harder

No, Kendrick’s is not a flop.
If CLB dropped June 2022 instead of Sept 2021 I see no reason it wouldn't do similar/same numbers it did. It's only been 6 months and there haven't been any huge rule changes (the 1 purchase per credit card rule but Drake doesn't do much in physical digitals anyway). The album was highly anticipated and 6 months would just add to that anticipation
I doubt it would've done 600k this year. Maybe 500k.
His next album wont do 600k for sure. The industry is done

Yes it is. And most rappers dont have physicals first week now. Cole/Drake/Ye did not.
603K to 295K between albums is a flop
Honestly if Kendrick atleast cleared half of DAMN (301.5K), Id say it wasnt a flop (not a W either but just Okay sales)
But it couldnt even do that

He outsold them all except Drake lmao.
Also, leaving for 5 years in this climate isn’t a positive, it’s a huge negative which is why Drake stays in the spotlight and continues to drop music, features, Loosies, etc. you have to stay relevant now more than ever and Kendrick was a ghost for 5 years.

Kanye went 264K to 307K with a mid week release. And 295K is not more than 307K
Cole went 397K to 282K
Drake went 732K to 613K
A drop is expected. A drop as steep as Kendricks (or even worse, Posts) is a flop.

They all stayed around the game. Y’all either dumb or just refuse to use your brains.
Think about it like this. Every single freshman in college right now didn’t hear a single new Kendrick album during their entire highschool careers. Those are the taste makers for the future and drive numbers. Most of them know don’t know who he is until now. Drake, Cole, Future, Kanye all stayed in the spotlight and dropped music regularly during that same period.

tl;dr flop
Kendrick selling more than Post first week in week 3.
Kendrick W.
Y’all need to get the blind hate out your heart.

Drake went from 1.04 million with Views to 505k with More Life, and if we are going to count that as a “playlist” instead of an album as y’all like to do, then he went to 731k with Scorpion from 1.04 million. So by your estimations Drake also flopped.
Or we can just admit that sales 5 years ago (DAMN) are not comparable to sales now.
Bro Kendrick had 5 years of anticipation, he major flopped. More surprised by posts numbers though, yikes what happened to him

Yes because a playlist/mixtape is not an album
I dont talk about untitled unmastered either
And its not the amount of units, its the percent drop. Views to Scorpion is 29%
Kendricks last 2 albums more than 50%

Bro what? People were literally under the impression dude was done rapping and gave up on him
kendrick had the third biggest album debut in spotify history in the US, beaten only by scorpion and CLB. everyone knew he dropped, they just didn't listen after the first day.

None of these numbers are applicable in the post bundle era. 300k is the new 500k. So Kendrick flopped, but not by much. Post I expected to do 150k, but I think he will beat this projections and still will.
