yes there is. drake announced his break on Do Not Disturb cuz he was getting close to it
What break did he take, really? More Life dropped March 2017 and by January 2018, he had returned with God's Plan. Not to mention that songs like Come Closer, No Complaints, Bring It Back & Signs dropped after More Life.
I'm always interested in seeing the artistic directions he goes with his albums, that's for sure. He's one of the few artists who still pays attention to stuff like that.

It definitely felt longer than it actually was, I'll give you that. I'm just saying that when you think about it, it really wasn't much of a break. And yes, Abel could have done without dropping another album so soon.
All of the albums that dropped after Scorpion in 2018 spent a single week in #1 with the exception of Astroworld which spent 2 weeks at #1 & A Star Is Born soundtrack spent 3 weeks at #1 and to make up for that, it had 3 monster hits. CLB didn't have that.
because huge names kept dropping which is why Scorpion wasn't in top 10 as long
I think his label is going all in on pushing the song because they believe it'll be the only real hit from the album and they're probably right. Just off radio airplay alone, I'd say the song stays in the top 10 till the end of the summer. It's #1 on radio right now and it's still gaining like crazy.

someone has to tell orod it's okay for her to leave the top 10

That's really no excuse and many of those albums didn't spend more than a couple of weeks in the top 10 so it shouldn't have mattered. The only huge albums that dropped after Scorpion and spent considerable time in the top 10 were Astroworld & A Star Is Born. Every other album came and went.

I can't blame her for enjoying this album era as much as she can because she might never have another era this successful. Billie Eilish & Lorde know a thing or two about that.

billie really messed up switching up her whole image THEN getting with a known racist

She felt grown and wanted to express that in her art/imagery. In hindsight, it was the wrong move but you can't blame her for trying to switch s*** up.

The whole depressed white rich girl shtick is 🤮
Kiss Land*
the mainstream would bury him if his next album sounds like kiss land
In this climate I bet she has another year tops, any more than that and she's gonna lose a lot of heat, especially if another girl like her comes along or Ariana Grande has a tun type era again.
