Mick Jenkins - he said that TPAB was all he listened to while making his 2nd album
Vince Staples - He considers Kendrick the best rapper of this generation, that FM! album was literally the same radio concept Kendrick did on DAMN. and he sounds like Kendrick on a bunch of songs
YBN Cordae - He said that Kendrick is his biggest inspiration and on his debut album he did some sort of remake to Faith by Kendrick, song is called Familly Matters
Anderson .Paak - I already explained in the thread
Tory Lanez - Literally bit The Art of Peer Pressure on one of his albums and he bit Kendrick on more songs
Joey Badass - I posted a video ITT of him talking about Kendrick, his last album definitely had TPAB influence
J. Cole - Dude has been following Kendrick blueprint since before KOD, 4YEO literally a TPAB for broke bois, also bit Kendrick's Goosebumps flow on the feature he did for Offset
Little Simz - Look up her Sing About Me remix, her last album had mad TPAB vibes
Goldlink - Same look up his The Heart remix, people have been comparing him to Kendrick when he dropped his first album, he got his own style tho but definitely some Kenny influence
YG - His first album have been influenced by GKMC theme..this is old at this point I don't need to get into this YG said it himself
Boogie - He's from the same hood Kendrick is from and I'm pretty sure TDE is the reason he is signed to Shady Records in first place, it's obvious that Eminem wanted to have his own Kendrick on his label, Boogie looks up to Kendrick
Anyway listen to Whose Fault sounds a lot like Kendrick especially U
Mac - Already explained few pages ago
Tierra Whack - She's a big Kendrick fan, there's a video of ASAP Rocky telling her how her flow reminds him of Kendrick, she tweeted 2 months before her first project dropped about The Art of Peer Pressure and it made me realize how that song's intro might have influenced her style

You made the claim, the burden of proof is on you. Having Prod. Credits on a couple BP and TDE songs doesn’t = writing Kendricks music u f***in idiot
This meme needs to die. He wrote nothing for Kendrick
Next time you in the studio with Kendrick make a thread for KTT. It’ll be an instant classic

ill take ya word for it
still gonna have to disagree with paak though, his voice might sound like a more suave kendrick but musically wise ion see the similarities lol. malibu is just a warm jazz soul album, its pretty standard and kendrick did not invent jazz.
and by boogie i hope we arent talking about a boogie lol cause thats who i thought you meant
tierra sounds more like andre 3k mixed in with lauryn to me
How is that pretentious? U sounding a a bit sensitive my guy.
Just chill bro, it’s too early
You made the claim, the burden of proof is on you. Having Prod. Credits on a couple BP and TDE songs doesn’t = writing Kendricks music u f***in idiot
baby keem has credits all over kendrick's camp but them sounding the same just so happens to be a coincidence huh
common logic doesn't need definitive proof

He has production credits 😴. I literally said that and you chose to ignore it.
Common logic says it’s more likely a high school kid is drawing influence from his older cousin who happens to be Kendrick Lamar than whatever you’re saying. Also Kendrick s*** was made before keems
Don’t quote me again

Nah different Boogie lol
Listen to Mansa Musa from Oxnard and tell me it's not influenced by King Kunta both have a similar beat, similar theme, similar rapping
And about Tierra she is definitely influenced by other artists and she has a dope & unique style
But the art of peer pressure does remind me of her music for some reason from the beat, weird voices & the singing
Maybe its just me tho but can't deny that she's a big kendrick fan from those tweets i just posted
How does he have no influence?
Whatever, I'm not tryna argue anymore bout this subject, have a good day
Kendrick has no influence on the industry
He’s just another rapper/lyricists that makes great albums
The current game is full of Thug, Drake & Ye offsprings tbh
But hey that’s just my opinion
how kendrick influence baby keem when kendrick's music is written by him lol
Now that you mention it...

But many rappers that were mentioned itt are influenced by kendrick, and even if they aren't huge, they're still part of the culture right now. Plus, like someone else said itt, it's difficult for artist tryna get the bread to find inspiration in kendrick's work, especially in this age of playlists. As of now, kendrick is mainly influencing artists that care about the album format, and they're still a part of the industry.
I ain’t a big fan of blog/internet rappers. I’m more of where the culture is from kinda fan, the skreets 🤷🏽♂️
Going on the Internet to talk about how you don't fw the Internet
Classic
