FlyHiiiI really disliked Mr. Morale but one mid (to me) album doesn't make for the worst fall off. He took a risk and it didn't work out for all of his listeners including me

What’s risky about making what is essentially GKMC 2? Mr Morale is like the good kid grew up and made another album 10 years later.
I don’t see what’s so risky about Mr. Morale it’s essentially kendricks “recovery” or “dark beautiful twisted fantasy”. He made an album that was supposed to be well received by the majority and I’d argue he has succeeded but not nearly as well as those other two albums succeeded in winning over the people after “falling off”

What’s risky about making what is essentially GKMC 2? Mr Morale is like the good kid grew up and made another album 10 years later.
