I’m sure I could start dwindling the people down if I really went full blown detective. I could’ve sworn I used to follow the Sanctuary Basketball League page on IG but I guess not because it’s a private page now with only like a handful of followers, etc.
I truly don’t know who the mole could’ve been but MTG is all the proof I need to know that the story Real is telling at least has some truths to it. What people are forgetting is drake was actually supposed to drop Family Matters that Thursday night (according to Kendrick’s side) but then it got delayed to Friday… then 6:16 gets released the next morning… to me that speaks volumes about there actually being some kind of mole or at least someone playing both sides at a minimum.

I think he uses a custom Neumann TLM 103 mic nowadays. Before that he was using a Nuemann U67
Based on the oklama picture it looks like they use two of them (one hanging upside down and one standing up straight). Also looks like a new recording technique for him
So that’s probably where you’re hearing that “muffle” cause doing this affects the tone/color of one’s voice cause of how the microphones are placed. If he placed one facing his chest, he’d sound way louder/powerful. Kinda interesting they used two of the same mic to do this, using the two different mics I named would create a better sound but artists choice
Also I think when they started working with new people for Morale (engineer who won album of the year with John Batiste) they started learning newer ways to mix/master/record other than the mono they learned from Dre and we can even see that now with linking up with Jack @Oblivion99
