He said peekaboo is mocking other rappers who say nothing but gibberish, like bro no its not wtf
Him saying what they talking about they aint talking about nothing isnt gibberish its a temperature check, like “oh i thought a nigga said something…guess not”
Cultural differences can really make people misunderstand music
Not too crazy for a 30-minute review. I didn’t like how the review wasn’t well-structured and he was all over the place but he acknowledges it. Also there’s nothing he can do about lacking cultural context (none of the examples you cited have anything to do with that imo though) other than not review any music altogether

Nov 26, 2024interesting that fantano feels the same way i do in the sense that gnx reads like a full-blown sonic departure ala TPAB despite its branding as a one of his easier listens. very very very distinct album that sticks out like a sore thumb in his discog.
