Post is up there
I see the vision
I would still put some women above her
When she taps into her southern twang >>>>
Yea I bet Iggy got some “twang” alright
Who's got the best voice in rap, and why is it Iggy Azalea
Meg sound a lot like her delivery wise at times lol
all comes down to what you enjoy though but the monolithic thought that Kendrick is lightyears ahead of everyone living, pulitzer prize, sweeps the grammy, super bowl is cool but Pharoah Monch Nas and many more deserved reconition like that before Kendrick its cool Kendrick getting it though
be for real though
How Iggy survived that "slave master" bar, and the bullshit freestyle on stage where she's rapping "chicken fried rice, wonton soup" or whatever tf, needs to be studied..or not. Cracker
People who think the voice is a superficial element and not one of the most important elements of rapping are not to be taken seriously in rap discussions
2.
It’s also a convenient cop out for chronically nerdy niggas who think they’re above popularity or universal appeal. Cause when you demote the importance of vocals you take charisma out the equation all together, so the criteria is just nerdy s***
like there are better rappers and that is okay
LMAOOOO
Meg sound a lot like her delivery wise at times lol
real
I've actually never had an issue with Cole or Drake's voice/flows
But it takes me awhile to get over Kendrick's singing voice in most songs
Kendrick sings like he's got some PB&J clogged in his throat

She got lucky, it was before the PC culture and online cancelling really took effect
Same reason Tyler got away with his rape bars unscathed
My man yall see a paragraph and ask the dumbest f***ing questions . I mean it has a concept but skits unifying elements do feel less like a collection of singles . Similar to gkmc would help me if currently serves as a sample platter
Now what I want you to do is forming a complete thought no question to this post , no sarcasm no smiley a complete thought that demonstrates reading comprehension.
That shows you comprehend full words sentences and paragraphs and add capable of discussing art with
Thanks for expanding. I hear what you’re saying.
getting on this high horse about kendrick being a casual pick for best rapper then linking aesop rock after
what f***ing year is it man
I think he finally figured it out with GNX with his singing
He sounded great on Luther. Like even without SZA.
Gotta ring to it when Keem put his pen through it

Just put him on the f***ing song Dot

Tyler was literally banned from a country bro

he's trolling but I fw what he's doing tbh

I'd prefer more effort in the singing, like Cole gives. Kendrick gets more animated in his actual raps but Cole definitely gives a greater effort while singing
LMAOOOO
this is why I dont have discussions with yall because really I could post SLR1-3, Mural and many more songs that are factually more lyrical
the entirety of Tetsuo and youth is an album about reincarnation
The cool about michael young history but kendrick does something on a song for 5 minutes and yall infinitely impressed.
I wasnt comparing this song to reincarnation I was saying the type of rap I personally enjoy. I am not saying its universally the best or as accessible as kendrick
I am not trolling
ok
you cant be serious. Do you comprehend that I am applauding the song but saying Kendrick is not the top 3 for me writing or lyrically but is simply more accessible than many people you do not know?
Boldy James has him beat lyrically easily this year.
Story telling obviously I have Lupe way over Kendrick on many many songs. Immortal technique but that is highly inaccessible to most. Aesop Rock lyrically again clears
it may not be a delight to your ears but to mine it is
I have a wide palette though many of yall on here are kind of limited and solely listen based on what complex or radio feeds you. I grew up on cds from the libary than soundcloud scouting and seeing shows in person
!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FKSHGH6gXrkThe craziest part to me is if I ran many of these rappers through an Kendrick AI filter yall would be like "WOW MY GOAT DID IT AGAIN OMG THE GREATEST" yall are more attached to the voice and the character sometimes the "omg his aura" than the actual rapping
!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bzq1WBBYTBUas crazy as yall talk to me you dont realizie rap is my everything thats why I write and nerd out and get embarassed for yall for your myopic views of the genre
!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3cUlwQ8HMB0Man I’m not attacking you, It’s just a discussion
I’ve had Lupe over Kendrick with storytelling for a long time but I’m putting them on the same level atp. They’re both at a level of creativity with it other rappers almost never achieve. They the only 2 that manage to make career highlight story based songs every album
I also love Boldy but I’m not sure he’s a better lyricist than Kendrick. It’s always tough comparing Kendrick with guys like that because they make different kind of songs. Even when Boldy taps into his story telling (like Illegal Search & Seizure) it’s not even close to Kendrick or Lupe’s
I’ve honestly grown out of caring about crazy rhyme schemes. I’ll always appreciate a good one here and there and Dooms in my top 10 but stories and clever wordplay always gonna be more impressive imo
It’s why I got Push in my top 5. Dude literally never wastes a single bar lol
She got lucky, it was before the PC culture and online cancelling really took effect
Same reason Tyler got away with his rape bars unscathed
I disagree main reason they got her outta here was for her resisting and/or taking offense at being lectured about checking her privilege, that and the accent
She was def in the cancel culture era and bit the bullet eventually because of it she just wasn’t famous enough yet when the slave line hit for it to matter to the public

I literally did a multiple paragraph post with multitple artist I enjoy personally and video links that you didnt respond to
when you say best rapper living or top 3 what demands that I limit myself to whats on the radio?

Man why tf am I seeing this name again. First it was a dude arguing AT THE BAR about if Aesop Rock and Kendrick could make an album now they rating him higher
