Game of Thrones imo deserved the hype for like the first four seasons. Then Dumb and Dumber caught a lil hubris and decided to power through on their own/with little assistance from Georgie boy
The falloff was devastating to watch as it kept getting more and more silly and nonsensical culminating into that final season where about 4 seasons of plot gets crammed into just 8 episodes
