I'm a runner, never ran a marathon but ran a bunch of semis so I very much know that high when you're done with one of your weekly or designated runs. With that being said, manifesting something from that high is just materializing something that you want to materialize rather than just witnessing something out of the ordinary imo, but if you're telling me that it genuinely worked for you I have no reason to dispute it quite honestly so good for you !

Well the producer/engineer is spending extended amounts of time with the artists both inside and outside the studio, especially if the relationship is personal like 40, mixedbyAli, Dahi, Sounwave, T-minus (nigga streams and gives away so much sauce and stories), so you’d be getting even finer details than the artist since these people tend to sit with same music even more and see the process from a creative critic perspective.

Also, they would have engaged in the conversations you hope to get from the artist and may actually be able to articulate the artists ideas in words better since they helped bring it to fruition

Thats how the artists pre social media moved and the world kept pushing.

It’s only been in this age of information that artists have to spoonfeed their fans everything even if the music says it clear as day.

The problem is all forms of media have fallen into clip culture so now everyone is rushing to take s*** out of context or say s*** to piss the artists off to “go viral” (e.g. ari lennox/kehlani with weird interviewers)

We need to have a real discussion about the decline of music journalism. Elliot wanna b**** on jbp about new artists not wanting to do interviews when he need to look in the mirror.
