TPAB is beating you over the head with a letter/poem he ends up explaining in the end anyway.
Just listen to the two back to back and you’ll see. The inspiration may have came from the same place but the execution on one seems more human, calculated and machine-like on the other.
I made sure I read through to the end of the discussion you started before commenting. I can appreciate people who come on here and initiate actual discourse inspired by the things they believe and not just to incense people day in and day out, regardless of if I agree with the thoughts or not. There was one post toward the end that didn't come off well, and made me question everything else that came before it. But otherwise I thought you at least offered some things to think about.
As far as this specific post, cause I'm never about politics and always about music. This made me wonder what some of your favorite artists/albums are and how they differ from what Kendrick does, as far as creating a body of work. Because not everything is as free-wheeling and off the cuff as an untitled unmastered. That was kinda the point behind the project's release. But most things we hear, especially from a commercial standpoint, is more of a polished product. So I'm curious where the disntiction comes in for projects like TPAB and DAMN. Someone can look at your posts and just boil your thoughts down to "I think he's extra" so I rather hear it from you.
