EzioKendrick never dares to go in his true direction he always wants to include a bop or two that are awkwardly misplaced and significantly weaker than the rest of the album, thematically (backstreet freestyle, king kunta, Humble, Count me Out...)
On 4YEO Cole dared. Resulting in what I've always wanted and expected from Kendrick, a cohesive beautiful album. Kendrick has the potential to drop something to the level of a Lupe or a Nas that single s*** is beneath him so why does he keep doing that? TDE? Fear of losing relevance?

I'm aware that Cole made commercial sound record but I didn't feel it was a compromise, whereas when it comes to Kendrick I always feel like it is a compromise, if not thematically then sonically. That's why I loved Untitled Un mastered so much, I'd take 15 more of these from Kendrick

it's a theoretically dense and deep album with alot of content a lot to say. meticulously crafted and well-put together
but it's not a perfect album and we gonna stop this narrative right here that TPAB is the end all be all of music.
