I think he's said it in a track before just can't remember what track it is. And I think within context of that song he was saying he was being called a nlgger by his mom growing up
the last song on everybody
only remember cause of the j cole part lol
A lot of the best rappers have had to the left songs like this in their career lol.
Not really sure what you said here
Floprey 204ham
Or 204ke
If you wanna keep that k in there
Lol this better.
Papi forgive me
In the context of the song I disagree it’s not like he wrote it with the intention of getting some edgy humor off
Just as a thought experiment… if a white guy made a song about how he used to be more racist and used the N word fully, in that context, would it be cool?
Mans paid $500 tickets for the “moshpit” just to calmly stand there while kendrick stands on a box and screams slurs at them in the alien voice
Drek Stan’s still bringing up flopping when Drake barely cracked 200k

Every white person alive is well aware of the connotations of that word as there are hundreds of years of using that word as a slur. The other word was regularly used in vocabulary in the timeframe Kendrick is referencing. We can’t act like both words are on the same timeline of learning how offensive they were in the sense of general conversation

The problem, though, is that in 2022 we understand that the F slur is offensive. Auntie Diaries came out in 2022. YES, I UNDERSTAND it’s a story about an old mindset that he had. However, that doesn’t mean he had to say the word 12 times in a song released in 2022.
If this song came out in like 2008 then sure, during that time and era the word was used ignorantly and openly, so it can be understood. There’s no reason why he had to use the word in today’s world after almost a decade of knowing that it’s offensive.
He could’ve gotten the same exact message across without using the word whatsoever.

This whole song was so obviously designed and presented to purposefully provoke a certain section of people online. No coincidence that the idea of cancel culture is a big theme on the overall album.
