yeah drake's relationship with the public is a lot like his relationship with the industry, they don't really like him like that but they'll gladly take his hits lol. he's the biggest male artist alive and one of the best songwriters of our generation but nobody really wants to give him credit for it and they don't think he deserves it because of his perceived corniness and lack of authenticity. i'd have a chip on my shoulder too all things considered.
