Just him saying he's #1 is not enough for Cole to jump out the window.

Most of Kendrick's verse is directed at Drake anyways.

Drake is the one that needs be aggressive when he responds, given Kendrick's verse mostly aimed at him and their history.

calling out his collab with drake as being disingenuous warrants a warning shot then no wonder people don’t rate cole.

It’s like someone hitting you with a haymaker out of nowhere and saying “well if you do that again, then you will see”

Cole don’t want it like that. Diss was nice though, but not being aggressive was a mistake, he runs the risk of Kendrick dropping something to where no one would be interested in a cole response anymore even if he does come with something on that level.

Saviour is the best song on Morale. It's just coming from a real place after all these white critics put him on this pedestal (which he also played into) but just disowning that image made it feel more honest to me
