Lol… just wait until Kendrick exposes Cash Money, Republic, and UMG for what they’ve been doing for Drake over the last 15 years.
Believe me when I say that nothing is what it seems.
Yeah I saw this. The issue is that you have to really listen to glean it and Drake should've worked harder to infused these vibes and really put it on full display for everyone to see. Since it's clear he feels that way in real life. It's very much another relatable feeling and that's what he's best at, relating to the everyday listener. It's why he shouldn't have cut I'm the problem from FATD, would've tied the album together nicely.
He has an easy alley Oop for his next album which is basically turn I'm the problem into a whole album. Lean more into his real life jadedness and how that's changed him from when he was a hopeful naive young rapper in So Far Gone. We saw glimpses of this in Away From Home.
I need more vulnerability man
DO NOT DISTURB IS A GREAT F***ING SONG ONE OF MY FAVORITE DRAKE SONGS OR RAP SONGS IN GENERAL AT ALL
I DONT HATE THE MAN BUT HE SAID "i WILL CATCH UP WITH YOU TO GIVE YOU THE SUMMARY"
THEN DROPPED SOME WE GONNA SEE WHATS GONNA HAPPEN ON THE NEXT EPISODE OF DRAKE BALL Z
THEN SOME TOOSIE SLIDE
THEN SOME LIFE IS GOOD
NAH NIGGA LIVE UP TO DO NOT DISTURB

damn facts i almost forgot about dnd. that track goes crazy.
It’s over for Drake
I’ve been hearing that since 2018. He’s still the biggest rapper in the world

Earned. Not given.
a song can be good because its personal struggles you relate to that help you in your life
what do you relate to from Drake ? vs being an outsider in a life we will never live
Y'all make music so complicated lmao. Music is about sound and Drake's music sounds good 😂
Y’all really think Kendricks music gonna outlive Drakes?
Outside of rap, like in the ”real” world lol
No, but he has two albums that are standing the test of time, at least in terms of listenership with GKMC/DAMN. Drake has more albums doing that, though.
Why should he have to change his life so fans can be inspired by that change? Do y'all ask this of Future, who has been making the most hedonistic music in rap for over a decade? No, y'all love him for it and implore him to not change. So, why does Drake have to change his content? Especially when people still go up for it?
You fans want him to have GOAT status that's why. Substance transends time. I've been listening to Drake since 2008.
I'm 38, and this man child is 37. I've lived a little life. F*** I'm posed to do with "girls like girls where I'm from"
Music is straight if it's just fun entertainment, but that don't get you GOAT status. Grow nigga, EVOLVE. Had something real mixed in with that s***.
He has been rapping about b****es and status forever. This nigga lives a shallow existence. Clubs, thots, and a bunch of yes-men. His music reflects that. Only time he has anything to say is in response, or if he's talking bout the people round him.
Earned. Not given.
Wrong. You clearly have no idea what I’m talking about.
I’m a grandpa on this site bro don’t try to use age against me lol
If you were to shuffle your music right now, how many songs from GKMC would you not skip over? Let’s be real. Classic album that you don’t go back to.
This is the one instance where I will use charts. Because this is just factually incorrect lol
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Good_Kid,_M.A.A.D_City#Year-end_charts
An album from 12 years ago ended up at No. 30 on the Billboard 200 and No. 12 in R&B/Hip-Hop last year. People are very clearly still listening to that album. In order for an album to be considered a classic, one of if not the most important thing it has to be...is replayable.
Are you f***in stupid my nigga?
drake didn’t need to completely dilute everything great about his music to keep selling well. he sold well while also making quality music and consistently (more or less) indisputably great albums. if i ask “what happened to that” the stan’s say “they still quality
” like alright bruh. glad you still enjoy em i guess

Y’all really rate Damn so much? I like it but I didnt know it was so liked by the community.

If his music isn't enough for you anymore, then don't listen. Who said you have to grow with his music forever? It's perfectly okay for you to outgrow the content of his music.
Oh brother, using homophobia from others to justify why an artist isn’t good anymore is just weird lol
Nice reading comprehension.
He is the most experienced in battle rap between J. Cole and Kendrick. He is tapped in the battle rap culture in general.. man was hosting King of the Dot and URL battles.
Then went on and still lost to Pusha. Why is this conveniently left off. Pusha didn’t do any of what you said Drake did and he convincingly beat Drake.
Y’all really rate Damn so much? I like it but I didnt know it was so liked by the community.
I meant in terms of his most-listened/consumed albums. It's GKMC and then DAMN.
