I don't even think its first week alone was the reason why it was an underperformance because all things considered, 295k isn't a terrible debut. It's how it performed AFTER the first week. It left the Billboard 200 after 70 weeks. In comparison, TPAB charted for twice as long and GKMC/DAMN are still charting. That's why it underperformed really. Not that hard to understand.

He's an established touring act at this stage of his career so you can't use that as a correct gauge of his current commercial standing.
