Illmatic is arguably the GOAT rap album. Still sounds incredible to this day. As good as all the Kendrick albums are--has not reached that high.

Kendrick is obviously a fully realized artist compared to Nas.

Nas has always been a deep thinker with something to say but he has also fallen for the pitfalls of rapping just to rap.
