Kendrick is obviously a fully realized artist compared to Nas.
Nas has always been a deep thinker with something to say but he has also fallen for the pitfalls of rapping just to rap.
Both are goats. And I hope I’m spinning Kenny in 20 years the way I’m spinning Nas.
Nas isnt even close to someone who raps just to raps lol.
Dude is one of the greatest conceptual songwriters in all of hip hop. Even Lupe said that a lot of his storytelling and conceptual songs are inspired by Nas.
Nas has songs about damn near every topic imaginable.

At the same time, not sure where I’d exactly put that classic line at. Idk if I should consider Stillmatic or Mr. Morale a classic, both of them as a whole have their slight setbacks.
Stillmatic is a certified Klassic in my eyes. Yea it has some lows but the highs are so good that I can’t deny it’s status

Kendrick is more abstract lyrically he is not on Nas level when it comes to imagery storytelling or wordplay stop
