Having a problem with homophobic and misogynistic lyrics and being a rap fan are mutually exclusive jsyk
Not really true, but even if it was, my point was that Tyler has more than his fair share of content that has not aged well, s*** that Tyler himself wouldn't return to because he grew out of it.

Yeah, I’m just being catty cuz I hate that argument, sorry.
I guess it’s fair to say it might be fair to dock it some objective points for having stuff that could turn people off like that, but idk if I could ever f*** heavy with someone who could hear B****** and have their main takeaway be not liking the words he used, lol

The rape song skeeves me the hell out these days but B****** is still really good
Look if ya'll can have 20+ pages dedicated to a man getting a face tat, I think this one is fine to stay up.

I mean Jay has been alternating between classic and mid since 2001 so I understand this take

Exactly. Jay has higher highs but lower lows.
Overall it’s still HOV because he made Reasonable Doubt, but that’s also closer than it might initially seem

He is one of the most consistently inconsistent GOATs. I love Jay, he's in my top 10, but I never know what to expect from him quality wise
Reasonable Doubt is one of the best rap albums ever, legit perfect, and Blueprint and 4:44 are right there too. Black Album, American Gangster, what a genius. But then there's MCHG and BP3 and it's like ugh what are you doing man
Back in the day, he'd just throw the good and the bad onto one album and you'd get A Million and One Questions and I Know What Girls Like two tracks apart these days you can tell whether he's inspired or not immediately
