I don't get the hate for this. For one, Parker and Stone aren't writing, just producing (admittedly, for a longtime consultant on South Park).

But that consultant is Vernon Chatman, who's been behind all the best US comedy for years. He produced on Louie: which modernised sitcoms, as well as Delocated; Still the funniest Adult Swim show to date.

He created Wonder Showzen and The Shivering Truth, which are both equally batshit crazy, but also at their best hilarious and deeply satirical.

He also created Trigger Warning with Killer Mike and Doggy Fizzle Televizzle with Snoop Dogg (which isn't great, but so much better than an early 2000s MTV show starring Snoop Dogg should be)

Lastly, he's not white, so I don't think he'll be looking to dunk on black people like others have eluded to.

Many of us have already been complaining about movies where black actors are forced to reenact slavery so what better than a movie where a black actor reenacts slavery in it as an internship to get experience while dating a white woman then everything changes when they realize that their white partner ancestors owned slaves
