JoshNot even trying to be funny but do people outside of like forums and s*** STILL check for Pitchfork? Do these Pitchfork reviews actually effect whether or not people peep your project? I feel like social media and podcasts/streams/youtube hold more weight nowadays but idk.
the only ones that really move are like the recent tyga/CB reviews that are pretty obvious stunts
but like an album getting a regular bad review doesnt effect anything anymore

But funnier than that is he made @ASAP_RICKY b**** up making a 180 (he was slandering kenny heavy before Kenny actually posted in the thread) while Kenny was going off on Ricky on stream on behalf of an (obviously) ironic joke that I actually made ("East Point Prayer would be song of the year but since Kenny made it it's not.")

KIRi feel you to some level but at the same time if youre putting out a creative work you gotta expect some people to not fw it, its not a personal attack or anything
plus the actual review is pretty milquetoast and they chose an attention grabbing part as the headline for the tweet which like yeah they do want people to click the review that aint a gotcha either
im not really a fan of his music which is why im not tryna have this come off as defense of him or the way hes going about it
but i feel like we kinda create this world where artist cant respond to criticism at all. I think reviewers should be able to express how they want but i never got why people think its wrong to reply , i think its too far if ur turning it into some personal s*** or drawing ur fans to attack the writer but I dont think he’s doing anything wrong by saying he doesn’t feel like his career is at a plateu if hes proud of the work hes been doing

P4K been on the downhill. They tried way too hard to be trendy. At some point they decided that everything hip hop related was a 6 or 7 unless its a xaviersobased album. It's like their reviewers now are just people you'd never wanna hang around.
