P4K been on the downhill. They tried way too hard to be trendy. At some point they decided that everything hip hop related was a 6 or 7 unless its a xaviersobased album. It's like their reviewers now are just people you'd never wanna hang around.
Cap.
LMAAAAOOOO
Everything this guy has ever done has sucked except the geese album
geese album was well regarded in spite of its production and because of it's songwriting. not because of its production
im sorry but Kenny beats was just not the f***ing guy to make that album. like at all.
why is he so mad lol, plenty of people enjoy it outside of pitchfork, especially critically
it is strange bc it seems to be getting a lot of acclaim elsewhere, but I don't blame someone who takes their art seriously get critiqued in such a condescending way
p4k hiding reviews behind paywall killed the site, ur not wrong that nobody seeks them out anymore
it p much just allowed fantano to be THE source for music reviews
I understand the business minds behind it, but it really was the wrong move. I don't understand how you can justify paying for a music review in the streaming age. especially when paywalling the score won't stop people from sharing it
they should have made a better effort getting zane Lowe style interviews. get a major PR agency to get them 5 big exclusive interviews and paywall those.
id at least consider paying for that
Hinge girl milked my cock dry at 3am and now she's not texting me back #fairs
genuinely one of the funniest things I've seen on this site in a while, but the site is kinda just losing its appeal for me
im not really a fan of his music which is why im not tryna have this come off as defense of him or the way hes going about it
but i feel like we kinda create this world where artist cant respond to criticism at all. I think reviewers should be able to express how they want but i never got why people think its wrong to reply , i think its too far if ur turning it into some personal s*** or drawing ur fans to attack the writer but I dont think he’s doing anything wrong by saying he doesn’t feel like his career is at a plateu if hes proud of the work hes been doing
well said and agreed, I think there's this invisible like "artists can't reply" stigma put on bigger, major label artists and I never understood it
bro should respond 'like a guy who got milked n never saw her again? what that got to do with you being insecure over your 4 mid albums bro?'
