Left the party and it feels good. I won’t let them use me for my vote. They use black and brown people for power. Age old concept that’s been going on for generations...

Propaganda has been proven to work, you’re seeing it in real time. You’re going to have to push them. Don’t constantly hound them but whenever they say some blatantly untrue statement you have to push them on it. This is usually harder to do with people you aren’t related to but hopefully coming from you it will help make it easier because you’re doing it out of love

So you believe Biden saying they didn’t separate families.(Biden speaking on an election year too). Who would even think of building cages. Must be nice to live in a fairy tale

The migrant holding facilities held unaccompanied minors for 72 hours before they were passed along to HHS. HHS would then send them to shelters for children where they would be put up for foster care in the US. The logic was that it was safer for them there than running around in the streets.

During the Trump administration, the number of detained minors ballooned and the process became wildly slow and inefficient, leading to accusations of imprisoning children and separating them from their families. So basically they f***ed up something that was meant to be a temporary solution to a difficult problem.

They still needed a place to house immigrants temporarily. They can’t just cut people loose and tell them to fend for
themselves.

The difference is that they were not intended for people to stay there indefinitely, like under Trump, and they didn’t have a zero tolerance policy where they ripped children away from their parents by default out of spite.
