i'm pretty sure tarantino said he wants to keep this as a theater exclusive event thing but who knows atp. even if he did release it physically, it would probably have to be a regular blu ray to fit both volumes on one disc, otherwise it would kinda defeat part of the appeal of the whole bloody affair tbh.

i've always loved this shot after the fight with o-ren with the blue 300zx outside the hospital, i legit wanna frame this one shot and put it on my wall.

saw it. loved it.

the added/extended scenes (at least the ones i noticed) were so-so meaning they were very fun to watch but you can see why they were cut. the tighter theatrical release makes sense.

the crazy 88 scene was incredible here. seeing it in color was AMAZING. and i read that they did additional editing tweaks including to the musical cues/songs used. i would need to do a side by side comparison to really understand all the differences but it rocked my socks off here (granted the original cut did too)

Vol 1 still owns (maybe a perfect movie idk) while vol 2 drags a bit and isn't quite interesting enough as a drama to sustain its length
