nah i mean aside from the actual virus

you dont have to be that way tho. there’s nobody forcing you to its only you that thinks you should. societal standards are not real. you couldve done the same (besides maybe working from home if you do) pre-covid and some people did and all this changed nothing for them. what you do with your life doesn’t have to depend on what everyone else around you is doing because its yours. if you give a f*** about what other people think then your life is not yours its theirs

No but like I don’t want to like have to be a social creature again, I don’t like being isolated I don’t want to interact with new people and s*** and like have to actively interact with other people I like this time for myself

The first few months of quarantine were cool.

But at this point, I can’t take this s*** anymore and I consider myself introvert.

Dating scene is wack, going out scene is wack, job scene is wack.

How can you like this life? Don’t you want to be out there making moves and enjoying what life has to offer?

Ok yes that is true it has been a little lonely

But I don’t want the negatives of meeting people to come back(high expectations, pressure, stress, having to maintain a social life)

Like I want that s*** gone

    Americans don't social distance
    Don't wash their hands
    Don't wear masks properly
And are extremely skeptical of vaccines

S*** will NEVER go away in the United states unless mandatory vacation and heavy criminal charges for not wearing masks

I mean at the same time the covid deniers are a vocal minority

yup... I'm a teacher and right before thanksgiving break we had over 20 teachers and 100 students quarantined. still not "dire" enough for the school board to even consider going virtual for the three weeks between thanksgiving and Christmas.

A lot of the deniers and downplayers have already gotten the virus. Harvard and other places estimate that we have 70 million or so total cases, which is like a quarter of the country. Since those people already had it, even if they resist the vaccine they don't really need it bc antibodies. Combine it with people who want their lives and jobs back and it won't be as hard as it sounds to hit that 60% vaccinated number a few months after it drops.

You ever been to Petoskey? Gaylord? Ann arbor? Newaygo? Bellaire?

I know a collective of deer hunters in the outskirts of Gaylord who live off of poaching animals and welfare and selling weed

Rednecks run f***in rampant in the north my friend. It's like a whole other world.

Plus we had the people trying to execute our governor and bomb bridges n s***. Michigan militia is insanely red and flat out nuts. Idk if I would just label these crazies "blue collar" - seems slanderous to people in trades

I do live in grand rapids which is blue asf but it's basically run by the Devos family which is f***ed
