A decade rebuilding
And a lot can happen in that decade to ensure we never see what used to be called normal.
Ok yes that is true it has been a little lonely
But I don’t want the negatives of meeting people to come back(high expectations, pressure, stress, having to maintain a social life)
Like I want that s*** gone
If you’re feeling lonely but are seriously dreading maintaining a social life it sounds like you might have anxieties that likely could be helped a good amount with some cognitive behavioral therapy. Maybe check out Feeling Good by Dr David Burns. It’s helped some of my family break through similar feelings. Your abilities to thrive are more than you know
Americans don't social distance
Don't wash their hands
Don't wear masks properly
And are extremely skeptical of vaccines
S*** will NEVER go away in the United states unless mandatory vacation and heavy criminal charges for not wearing masks
"Heavy criminal charges for not wearing masks"
The age gap and lack of real world experience is so clear itt. You’ve got people on one side blasting anyone saying it’s gonna take a while to ever get back to normal.
I know you guys are balls deep in social causes (good for you) but there have been some absolutely detrimental economic impacts that we haven’t begun to deal with. Small business got absolutely railed during COVID. Small business is a huge part of the US economy.
The damage done for many has been irreversible. For many, it will take years and years to get back to “normal”. For just as many, there won’t be a normal anymore.
These idiots only care about being able to dine in and go to bars
Don’t waste your time on them
it won't, no matter how much we push for it with vaccines and regulations, the world won't return to how it was for a verrrrry long time. and dont be scared man, that growth will show through you like a light, you won't even be able to hide it
S*** will be back to normal in 2 years max when vaccins are widespread. Half of the people straight up ignoring COVID as we speaking first chance ppl get to get back to normal they will take it.
It sounds like you just don't want new experiences
we don't appreciate what we've been through enough, but if you're spending that time making NEW memories and going through that journey, then it's time well spent. sounds like ur partially being scared OP
This gotta be the most privileged s*** ive ever read lol. People are losing their jobs and businesses and op worried about having to be social again smh

I get your point but times are different now. We can recover waaaay faster as time goes by and right now we are pretty good already. World is moving so fast - new businesses, ideas, technology etc come so fast we cant really stop like that anymore like in the past.
