only hang up is that they want to rope you into the kindle ecosystem so adding torrented books takes a couple extra steps but it's still super simple

Thank you, DS2. Simple UI is great, the blue light filter is highly necessary. I don't know what the f*** e-ink technology is, but sounds good to me. How much of a pain is it to add torrented books? Because quite frankly, I don't intend to buy a single book.

Also can it highlight text in books? And then it stays saved for next time?

super easy! this explains it really well

e-ink is basically just a technology used to imitate actual printed (black) ink, it looks pretty natural and uses a lot less power

and yes highlighting works on the paper white, very intuitive
