metDefinitely, we should sweep these claims and go at the crux of them. I just don't trust any leader that says vague stuff like "woke policies" and banning p*** are the issues. You can tackle crime, help housing costs recalibrate without doing all of that nonsense. Interprovincial trade is a good point as well, hardly mentioned at the forefront
I'm also tired of politics being "attack the other person". I haven't seen a single conservative ad talking about how they will fix things, only seen ads attacking Carney.

ragedsycokillerYeah ngl. As an average american hispanic male. I'm not feeling anything by Trump at all. All this s*** going up in flames is touching bases that I have no connection to. It's been two months, and I'm seeing the same repeat behavior from 2016 with the Trump news cycle.
This is why 2016 - 2024 has felt the same vibes politically. America was not saved by Biden during 2020 lol.
I'm just worried about the increased ICE output, and that's about it.
Edit: Now just realizing what I said is somewhat selfish yes. That's my first thought. Then, I realize that's what a lot of other people are feeling right now with the political climate in the world right now.

Yeah I know. Selfish ass post, but I'm assuming this is how a large portion of the population moves. "Am I being affected? Nah?" not really my issue. I'll vote or go to a town hall when the issue comes down to me.
I make sure to vote for every local election as my bare minimum, but I don't vote for presidents since 2016

lol, honestly i was on board with PP for a while, but after Trump came into office PP just showed he doesnt really care to stick up for Canadians much and spent his entire campaign telling us how we suck, it worked because we believed it at the time but Trump honestly united us.
Funny because Trump made it clear he wanted PP and I think if anything Trump will be the reason we dont get PP.
PP has never had a real job and at the age of 31 qualified for a 200k tax payer paid pension when he turns 65
PP has not passed one single piece of legislation from the age 18 to now other than trying to get elections Canada to deter young ppl from voting

The US has rejected a Canadian proposal to establish a task force that would tackle Russia's so-called "shadow fleet" of oil tankers, according to reports last night.
Canada, which has the current Group of Seven presidency, proposed the measure ahead of a meeting of G7 foreign ministers in Quebec later this week.
In negotiations to agree a joint statement on maritime issues, the US is pushing to strengthen language about China while watering down wording on Russia, the reports said.
