It’s true that the whole cell (DTP) versions had a greater risk of side effects due to the pertussis. When the more-expensive acellular version was developed in the 90s, there was no longer a risk of contracting pertussis as a side effect of the vaccine, and this version became the standard. Unless there’s been a coverup of the 80+ million dead kids in the USA who got the the TDaP since 96, we can conclude it’s pretty much safe

The idea that a TDaP vaccine, or even the original DTP vaccine, would somehow make a child more susceptible to malaria, heart disease or a parasitic bladder infection or heart disease is ridiculous

Even stupider is the idea that an impoverished child could repel any of those diseases with a “healthy immune system” alone
