I’m struggling. I’m stuck in a almost dead, poisoned hungry state lol
What quest would y’all recommend first? I have next to nothing for equipment:
Find mutt
Find pavlena
Defeat tomcat in a duel
Find a lute

Brother go talk to the blacksmith in the small town. Become his apprentice. Gives you everything you need from there.

That’s the “talk to him to find a way to the wedding” guy?? Or different town? I figured i should do the side quests before I started that main quest. Maybe I’ll try that

i went for Pavlena first, but maybe go find mutt because he's helpful in combat. Although that quest takes you up and down the map a bit, so u can progress some of the other ones as well. The hardest one of the bunch is Tomcat, but if you're patient enough u can beat him with a low level. Reward is pretty strong if you're a sword player.

The main quest (wedding crashers) gives you more side quests, whether you go to the miller or blacksmith, and I recommend going to both of them because you get a free food source, bed and chest in both areas and they’re on different parts of the map so you’ll want as many little pit stops as possible.
Do that first then focus on the side quests
30 hours and conpleted most of the first map i guess
I’m 50 hours in and still have tons to do on the first map lol, there’s at least 25 side quests in this area

Oh yeah my own bed and food source is literally what I need. Ok thank you.

I missed some content but i will be back later

Yes. But you can just do a small side quest and get a bed and an avenue to make money.
Found a gang’s camp as part of a quest. Searched through the woods at night and looked for the glow of a torch. Found them with one lookout. Waited until he sat down and the rest were all asleep, stealth killed the lookout from behind then murdered them in their sleep one by one
Yah man this already up there with skyrim, rdr2 and witcher 3 for me. All I've thought about since this game came out is this game.
can you explain this based off the previews ive seen it looks cheap in some areas. Even the writing is stiff in some of the quest ive seen. I promise im not trying to hate just trying to understand where the magic of the game is

In terms of immersion in the world and depth. I agree I don’t think the writing or voice acting is coming close to Witcher or RDR2.
Some people might find some of the immersion things tedious but I don’t find it that much of a hassle and it definitely adds to the game and adds a sense of progression both within the character and yourself as a player.
For one example, you can’t save scum in this game because you can’t manually save unless you have a Savior Schnapps, a potion you can either buy or make yourself. To make it, you physically need to find or buy two herbs and go to an alchemy bench, at the bench you add 1x herb 1 into a cauldron with wine you manually pour in, you lower it to the fire and boil it for two flips of an hourglass (20 seconds). Then you grind up 2x herb 2, add to pot, and boil for one flip (10 seconds). Every step of this process is animated and requires action on your part (even when you forget the recipe, you have to look over physically at your recipe book on the table).
Some people might find this tedious, but as you the player get better you’ll get a lot quicker and efficient at doing it yourself (without having to look at the recipe book, maybe not even needing to flip the hourglass just knowing how long it takes from your own sense), but your character also gets better at it, eventually getting perks that make mistakes more forgiving and perks that give you 3x the potion instead of one at a time.
There’s this sense of dual progression throughout a lot of their systems; stealth, lockpicking, sword fighting, archery, etc… on top of a decent crime system in a world that feels a bit lived in.

You can save scum lmao, just save and quit to the menu
I started getting better last night. I was stuck for a while.
I can’t stop thinking about this game. I haven’t even scratched the surface yet
speak of the devil fight feels almost impossible for me, all my teammates die instantly and then it’s 10v1 and they’re way too strong
can’t progress past here unfortunately, gonna take a break i guess
any tips for the lockpicking? anything over a easy lock is damn near impossible, henry has the shakiest hands
35 hours still haven’t done the wedding
Yeh id wait on it. I'm still not able to go back to the first map.
